Perhaps labeling this page as Bali is a misnomer. We landed in Denpasar, on the island of Bali from which we began our live-aboard excursion to the Southeastern islands of Satonda, Batana, Rinca, Komodo and Sangiang. Our support vessel, the M/Y Pelagian, motored us eighteen hours to the east, delivering us to these splendid dive sites in the Indian Ocean. The diving was absolutely fantastic.
Many may be unfamiliar with this part of the world, so let me help illustrate the location with a map. Bali is south of Borneo and northwest of Australia.
