The coast of California supports an outstanding arrary of sea life. Of course this is cold water diving and the waters are often a bit on the rough side. But, for those adventuresome souls who venture forth, these California waters support some of the most outstanding dive sites in the world. The Channel Islands, to the West of Santa Barbara California is definitely one of those locations. Depending on sea conditions, you can expect to dive the islands of Santa Cruz, San Miguel, and Anacapa Island in one three day dive tip. Of course, you can also venture further south and stay on the Island of Catalina and dive from either Avalon, or the northern end of the island.
