The Emily Flying Boat was designed for an impressive top speed of 276 mph and a patrol range of up to 4,500 miles. Initially, 20mm cannons were installed, along with machine guns in the side hatches. It was also capable of carrying torpedos, bombs, and depth charges. Quite a powerful and flexible machine. Here you can view what is left of one of these flying powerhouses, the inverted port (left) wing, covered in marine life.

The cockpit rests in an upright position, though the rest of the aircraft lies inverted. The two images on the right are from the limited interior space that is accessible.
