The Yamagiri Maru rests on its port (left) side Northwest of Fefan Island. It was built in 1938 as a passenger-cargo ship. It had six holds on the 430-foot vessel.

The ship has become a fine artificial reef, providing home to a number of underwater life as show by the anemone and Clark's Anemone fish and the tube sponges shown below.
